Why did this book become one of the books on the bookshelf in Yugen Tea?
For the first time, I met Simona in tea fields in Japan back in 2016. At that time, it seemed magical to meet a Lithuanian girl working in a Japanese tea farm and saying that Japanese tea deserves to be found all around the world. Perhaps I will not be mistaken to say that Simona is a Lithuanian who knows about Japanese tea the most of all Lithuanians. She is not only working in the field of Japanese tea for more than 12 years, but also is a president of Global Japanese Tea Association, sharing her knowledge about Japanese tea with people from all around the world. This book is one of her achievements in teaching about Japanese tea.
This book was like a guide, a textbook when I was just a beginner in the field of Japanese tea. It is very hard to find a book presenting all information about the process of Japanese tea production in a way that is easy to understand. That is why this book is one of my favorites.
Every tea enthusiast in Lithuania should have this book on the bookshelf.
