Seated comfortably at our six-seater bar, you’ll be in the capable hands of Giedre, who brings her extensive expertise to every aspect of this enchanting tea experience. Each tea is thoughtfully introduced, allowing you to immerse yourself in its unique characteristics and aromas.

Please note that you can choose between two distinct menu themes: our gourmet selection or a dedicated Japanese tea experience. To ensure we cater to your preference, kindly specify your choice in the comment section when purchasing your ticket.

For this captivating adventure, please keep in mind that a minimum of two tickets must be purchased to embark on the tasting experience.

The minimum number of participants is two persons.

Duration: up to 1.5 hours.

Location: Yugen Tea bar-studio, Užupio St. 24, Vilnius (Jonas Mekas Skersvėjis).

Attention: If you miss attending the tasting, the ticket is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for other goods or services. Reservation transfers are allowed only after notifying us by email at degustacijos@yugentea.lt no later than three days (72 hours) before the event.

You may change your reservation once. In the event of a cancellation within three days of the event, no refunds will be issued, and reservations cannot be transferred or exchanged for other goods or services.

What is the difference between the Yugen Tea tea tasting experience and the tasting menu experience?

Tea Tastings:

Purpose: Introduce tea and Japanese tea, explore different flavors, and learn how to prepare and appreciate tea.

Participants: Tastings can be arranged for both groups and private sessions at our tasting table, accommodating up to 13 people.

Host: Tea connoisseur Giedrė leads the tastings.

Duration: Approximately 90 minutes.

 

Tea Tasting Menu:

Purpose: Take time to savor the unique flavors of tea, whether on your own or with company. Participants sit at the bar, observing the tea-making process. Each tea is briefly presented and then left for you to enjoy.

Participants: The tasting menu is available for up to 6 participants at the bar, and advance registration is required.

Host: Our most experienced hands, Giedrė or Lauksminė, prepare the tea for you.

Duration: Up to 90 minutes.

Gourmet Tea Tasting Menu

For tea lovers – Gourmet Tea Tasting Menu

This tea-tasting menu experience is designed for Japanese tea lovers who are already familiar with the subtleties of green teas.

Tasting Menu:

Gentle Start: Handpicked Farmer Ryo-san White Tea (4 infusions)
Umami: Farmer Akky-san Kabuse Sencha covered for 14 days from direct sunlight (3 infusions).
Freshness: Kinezuka Family Organic Premium Midori Sencha (4 infusions and salad leaves).

For Tea novices – Tasting Menu of Japanese Teas

It is an excellent way to become acquainted with and savor the primary varieties of Japanese tea.

Tasting Menu:

  1. Hojicha: a roasted green tea crafted by Master Taka-san.
  2. Premium Sencha tea from Master Taka-san (4 infusions and salad from tea leaves).
  3. Your choice of tea: Farmer Akky-san’s green tea with rice, Genmaicha, or Master Matsumoto-san’s black tea, Wakoucha.
  4. Koridashi – a refreshing iced tea crafted by Master Uejima-san, using Gyokuro leaves.
  5. Farmer Akky-san’s Gokou Matcha, served either warm or cold, paired with a delightful dessert combination.
