Tea master Giedrė Trumpienė will introduce you to the basics of tea blending. During the workshop, you will create, taste and grade three tea blends and will create one to bring home and share with your loved ones.

Duration: 1.5 hours.
Location: Yugen Tea bar-studio, Užupio st. 24, Vilnius (Jonas Mekas Skersvėjis).
Private tasting*: the time is arranged individually according to your availability. For tasting date and time, please contact – degustacijos@yugentea.lt.
Group tasting*: we organize it once a month for groups. 8-13 participants take part in the tasting. For the next tasting date and time, please e-mail degustacijos@yugentea.lt

About the host
Giedre is a certified tea master, experienced traveler, and the founder of Yugen Tea. Giedre’s journey into the world of tea began during her high school years. Her fascination with tea culture drove her to pursue university studies in Asian cultures and languages.
While in pursuit of her degree, Giedre embarked on a transformative year in Japan, immersing herself in the intricacies of Japanese culture, the art of the tea ceremony, and the craft of Japanese pottery. Her hands-on experience was invaluable.
Giedrė also resided in Australia, where she lovingly prepared tea for locals, completed a Certified Tea Master Course, and attended a Tea Blending course by Australian Tea Masters. Her quest for knowledge took her to the tea fields of the Uji region in Japan during the spring of 2020.
Now back in Lithuania, Giedre is eager to share her deep expertise in tea and to foster a tea culture in her homeland.
