Matcha spoon – chashaku

The chashaku teaspoon in our collection comes from the workshop of Kubo Samon in Nara Prefecture, Japan. Kubo Samon, who runs the workshop, is a twenty-fourth-generation chasen-making master, and the craftsmanship of bamboo tools for the family tea ceremony, passed down through generations for more than 500 years, is nationally and internationally renowned. For tea ceremonies or everyday matcha making, a handmade bamboo chashaku.
